So as to further implement the spirit of ‘Notice of Education Department In Anhui Province in terms of 2016 Preschool Education Publicity Month Activities’ as well as carry out the program of ‘2016 Municipal Preprimary Education Publicity Month Activities’, on the morning of 18th June, Municipal Education& Sports Bureau invited Professor Gao Xiangdong to Anqing Foreign Language School’s east campus to hold an expert lecture with regard to linkup between kindergarten and elementary schools. Professor Gao is an expert in grade school education from College of Education in Anqing Normal University. Also in attendance were kindergarten leaders in urban areas, teachers& parent representatives of graduating students.
In the first place, the host of the lecture was Section Chief Fang Min with Basic Education Section of Municipal Education& Sports Bureau. Professor Gao Xiangdong centered on the theme of ‘Synergism in Kindergarten& Primary Schools with a Scientific Linkup’. He elaborated on how to realize a scientific& valid linkup concerning necessity, operability& misunderstanding in linkup between kindergarten and grade schools.
In the second place, Professor Gao pointed out differences between kindergarten and primary schools regarding education nature, work& rest regime, environment settings in addition to structure of teaching knowledge. Other than that, advisers and parents were supposed to show respect for characteristics in children’ s physical& mental development, pay close attention to their mental adaptation and help them achieve a smooth& steady transition, laying the foundation for them in life& games.
In the third place, Director Zhao Xinlong from Primary Section of Anqing Foreign Language School made a keynote speech entitled ‘Valid Relay& Triumphant Sail’, in which he exhibited specific work details in terms of adaptation education of new students in Primary Department by means of pictures& excellent accompanying essays. Additionally, Director Zhao put forward proposals for parents to help their children with enrollment preparation.
